Can I use a numbing cream or product before a tattoo?

No.

Numbing products are made by a variety of companies and there is not currently one that we recommend using.
Numbing products can cause the skin to handle a tattoo needle differently than skin traditionally does.

Please do not use any numbing products prior to a tattoo session. Use of these products may result in your artist being unable to tattoo you at the scheduled session and a new session needing to be scheduled.

During the tattoo process, Bactine may be used by your artist to "Take the 'ouch' out".
This will not completely relieve the pain, but for longer sessions it is often favored by clients to reduce overall pain.

How should I heal my tattoo?

After your tattoo, your artist will go over aftercare procedures with you and give you an aftercare sheet.
If you need an extra copy of this sheet, please contact us.

We have tattoo aftercare products available for purchase.
